After a first big Father's Day for Charles, Lilly and I left for Jackson, MS, to meet up with college friends for the annual Girls Beach Trip! I've missed out on the last two years but we made it back in time this year.
Julie, Sarah Elizabeth, Laurabeth, Jessica, Meredith and me all got together Monday night for dinner to get last minute details together for the beach. We left Tuesday morning for Perdido Key, FL, near Orange Beach. Jessica and I brought our baby girls with us - both named Lilly. We distinguished between them by calling mine Lilly Cruz. Lily Levy is 8 months and Lilly Cruz 5 months.
We had a blast laying out at the beach, eating crab legs, swimming in the pool, watching John and Kate, playing Apples to Apples, drinking beer slush and more. It was so good to laugh and reminisce as much as we did. Nothing beats a trip to the beach with a bunch of girl friends.
We ended the trip with a breakfast at Primo's on Saturday morning in Jackson where everyone was able to visit - husbands and all. See the crazy pictures below of our fabulous trip.
