We spent the evening out at the Noxubee Refuge near Starkville. Lilly and I both had a good time.

Many of you know that Lilly had surgery on her leg at Le Bonheur Hospital on January 5 due to her routine vaccine absessing. She has recovered really well. Almost immediately following the surgery we received a bill from the anesthesiologists. The bill from the doctor was waved since he was a friend of a close family friend. However, we were warned that our insurance wouldn't cover the surgery and that it was very expensive to have emergency surgery there. Charles and I prayed a lot about it since we were financially stretched already and had to basically sign a waiver saying we would pay the total, whatever it may be. Since we have yet to receive a hospital bill, I called Le Bonheur Hospital yesterday to ask about it. The lady looked up the information and said, "Hmmm, this doesn't look right." She put me on hold and then said, "There is no bill, the entire thing has been written off as charity and is completely paid for." She seemed as puzzled as I was for a brief second and then I said, "Praise God - what an answer to prayer!"
