So ... on this end... we're doing well. We had an all-day campamento yesterday for the women and Toni thought there would be about 30 women but there ended up being around 70! And we thought the women would bring along their small children who they couldn't leave behind but instead there were at least 45 kids! We did fun activities with the kids and played games. Charles made a tire swing and we did finger paint! It was all
Also a praise, Pablo has really come around this week with just verbalizing his struggles and really trying to correct his mistakes as of lately. He was a huge help yesterday with the camp and then all around in the house. He seems to be back to himself but making even better decisions. He's growing and it's very obvious. I think it's always fun to see fruit in people's lives after trial.
We had our Couples' Bible Study group over today and we all watched Narnia and discussed possible similarities in it to the Christian faith. It went well. Our couples leave for their three-month seminary courses on Thursday. We'll go to the villages one more time to see them this week before we see them off! They have asked for prayer for their trip and just that they can retain the knowledge as they study!
Please keep praying for Toni's health. Also, please pray for Alison...she's really struggling and we aren't sure with what exactly. She's just miserable here and thinks it's Bolivia that is making her miserable. But God doesn't seem to work that way ... He puts us where we need to be to serve him and nothing more. Our little Mercedes is growing and is as playful as can be. We'll leave her next weekend for a team retreat. Please pray that that would be very helpful and fun for all of us. The following weekend is a youth retreat ... November's packed.
